I really struggled with the couch in the lounge; it was so worn out and saggy that sitting down felt like sinking into a pit. It made getting up a real challenge, and honestly, it just felt uncomfortable all around.

A Convenient Stay in Christchurch
I was eager to visit the Cardboard Cathedral during my trip to Christchurch, which is why I chose the Salerno for its prime location. To my delight, I discovered their complimentary wireless Internet access and helpful tour assistance, which made planning my explorations effortless. I also appreciated the easy access to some of the best restaurants and cafés nearby, offering delicious local fare and artisanal products, allowing me to indulge in a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing.
Slightly cramped bathroom space.

Really good Stay at Salerno Motel Apartments
During my recent business trip to Christchurch, our director chose the Salerno Motel Apartments as our accommodation, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the decision. Despite being in the midst of earthquake season, the Salerno stood strong, providing a safe haven for our team. I was particularly impressed with the warm and attentive service from both Pauline, the Manageress, and Brendan, who ensured that all guests felt comfortable during the aftershocks. Their dedication to our comfort was evident; Pauline checked on our well-being after every tremor, providing reassurance, while Brendan suggested alternative tourist attractions that were unaffected by the quake. The spacious and well-appointed apartments were clean, modern, and allowed for a relaxing environment after long business meetings.
The couch in the living area was uncomfortable.
